INFORMATION
The Zollverein School of Management and Design was inaugurated on July 31 2006. It was the first new building on the Zollverein site, which was declared World Heritage by Unesco in 2006.The building was designed by Japanese architects SANAA (Kazuyo Sejima + Ryue Nishizawa) and resembles like an anormous white cube 34 meters high and a 35 x 35 m foorprint. The apparant random rythm of windows do not reveal the interior layout. All floors offer an high degree of flexibility and variability, resulting in a platform for communication.
