Kunsthal Rotterdam

HOW TO VISIT

The Kunsthal is located in the Museumpark behind the Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum and next to the Erasmus Medical Centre. The signs 'Museumpark', 'Boijmans Van Beuningen' or 'Erasmus MC' will take you very close to the Kunsthal. Parking is available in the Museumpark, under and beside the Kunsthal and in the parking garage of the Erasmus MC.


by public transport
We advice you to come by public transport. The Kunsthal Rotterdam is located in Museumpark, a 20-minute walk from the main railway station (Centraal Station). Or take a number 5 tram to Willemsplein (stop Vasteland), or a number 8 tram to Spangen (stop Erasmus MC).

Metro stations Eendrachtsplein and Leuvehaven are a 5-minute walk away.

by car
From Amsterdam/The Hague
Take the A13 to the 'Centrum' exit. Then take the 'Centrum/Maastunnel' exit. Continue along the road under several crossovers. At the intersection after the last crossover, turn left at the 'Centrum-Sophia-Erasmus MC’ exit (Across the intersection you will see a large filling station).
You now have two options:
Drive on and turn right at the second traffic light (at the Parkhotel). Continue to the intersection with traffic lights and turn right again. Follow the sign 'Parkeren' [parking]. Turn right and drive under the Kunsthal to reach the parking facilities.

From Dordrecht/Breda
Take the A15/A16. Take the 'Centrum' exit and continue in this direction. Stay on this road: the Maasboulevard becomes the Boompjes and subsequently the Westzeedijk. About 500 metres [approximately a third of a mile] after passing the Erasmus Bridge on your left, you will see the Kunsthal to the right of the Westzeedijk. Follow the sign 'Parkeren' [parking]. Turn right and drive under the Kunsthal to reach the parking facilities.

From Utrecht/Gouda
Take the 'Ring Oost' exit (Dordrecht/Breda). Take the 'Centrum' exit and continue in this direction. Stay on this road: the Maasboulevard becomes the Boompjes and subsequently the Westzeedijk. About 500 metres [approximately a third of a mile] after passing the Erasmus Bridge on your left, you will see the Kunsthal to the right of the Westzeedijk. Follow the sign 'Parkeren' [parking]. Turn right and drive under the Kunsthal to reach the parking facilities.
