House Heuser

INFORMATION

House Heuser is a lesser known project by Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe. It is also called the 4th Krefeld villa and was only recently discoverend. For many years it was an unknown project. In the city archives no documentation about the house could be found. Everything dating from before 1945 has disapeared. But in 2002 experts officially declared it a Mies design. There are Several simmularities with the other Krefeld villa's like the heigh doors in Makassa wood.

The house was built for Karl Heaser, a textile manufacter in 1932.
